Requirements to rent a straight Stairlift
The (SWL) Safe Working Load for our rental Stairlifts is 19 Stone / 127kg and a minimum staircase width no smaller than 28’’ Inches / 72cm. A standard 240V 3 pin outlet socket should be in close proximity either at the top or bottom of the stairs

Straight Staircases for Straight Stairlifts
Renting a straight Stairlift is pretty much straight forward! You need to be aware that your staircase should be straight. Please note: we only offer straight Stairlift rentals which means your staircase should be 100% straight with no bends or fan-shape landings at the top or bottom of the staircase See image diagram below

If you have any type of bend or fan-shape staircase it’s more than likely you will require a curved stairlift since curved stairlifts require a custom made bespoke rail made to measure it would not be financially viable to offer rental curved stairlifts
